(This is a review NOT of the inner workings of the preschool or how well they do with the kids inside etc but my experience parking next to the preschool.)

This place is toxic 👎. I'm a very good citizen and a very good person. I've been coming to Coachella valley ever since I used to teach here, and now I return at least once a year ( usually several times to hike etc) and always around tennis time in March.

 I've always parked next to the preschool and walked to the tennis arena to save a few dollars. NOTHING wrong with that. I'm not poor or impoverished, but I do like to save money when I can. 

 I missed the tennis tournament because of the covid because I don't want to get a vaccine but I returned in 2023 and parked in my usual spot but this time it caused a big fuss. 

Almost immediately some guy came out and POUNDED on my window (which I keep shuttered when I park to limit sun damage and prevent prowlers from peeking in) (why not politely knock with knuckles rather than pound with fist?) and wanted to know why I'm parked legally on the street next to the preschool. I told him exactly why as noted above.

He tried to say that the city will post signs not to park here. I said they've never done so in the last 15 years. He was caught in a lie and knew it & seemed slightly embarrassed (rightly so,) & then walked away. 

Meanwhile some lady from the preschool was standing on top of the the play structure peeking over the wall at me in my car even though I had done NOTHING WRONG and I'm a good citizen and everything was fine. 

Eventually they left me alone but by that time I was I was Internally Upset and didn't want to be near that place so I moved voluntarily to a different parking spot which are NOT always so easy to find. 

Anyways SHAME on this place and their toxic environment & the harassment that I experienced just for parking on a public Street next to the preschool. You cannot use childcare as an excuse to harass people.

 I see parents who use their kids as weapons this way occasionally to marginalize others, to whom I say,  "You're the scumbag, not me" .
